      Are there San Juan County businesses or other organizations doing things that you find particularly unexpected given our community’s location, size, or geography? Give a shout-out to businesses doing things that you think are innovative or unexpected. We would love to get a picture of the diversity of our economy.

        • Luxel: They have contributed components to some really amazing space missions that have allowed us to see stunning astronomical sights.
        • Commins Manufacturing: I’m not a structural engineer or builder, but their self-tightening anchors seem like elegant and clever mechanisms.

        I would add a bunch of other people and businesses, but have to stop here for now …
